De Vellis exists because the founder envisioned a new era in the moving industry over forty years ago. It was the early 1980s, and he believed it was time to rethink the moving profession.

By overturning the common business logic of the time (price wars between competitors, underpaid and unqualified labor hired as needed to economize on costs), his goal became to elevate the professionalism of the activity and demonstrate that a De Vellis service would become the best possible choice for the customer.

TRAINING
Over forty years of experience allow us to know all the needs of customers.
A highly professional service involves careful and rigorous selection of our employees. Our team of operators undergoes a training period of at least one year during which they learn all the processes of moving, the standards, and the company spirit. Only after reaching the necessary level of professionalism is the operator included in the operational staff. We feel a great responsibility towards the customer and consider each operator's training path a critical success factor due to the delicacy of the tasks and to guarantee the highest preparation and discretion of our staff.
Our organization works to maintain this quality standard at high levels. This is confirmed daily by our customers with numerous appreciations, compliments, and letters of reference that make us proud of our collaborators. These collaborators become qualified movers after years of training and experience passed down for over 30 years by the key figures of the company: Owner, Managers, Moving Department Head, Team Leader. The figure of the Team Leader, as the direct reference for the customer, is the central figure of the move. This position is typically reached after five years of activity as a mover. They are the professional who organizes the service to be performed based on all the needs of the moment and the place and enjoy the maximum trust of the company, representing its image to the public.
